About Caroline

Caroline was a straight-A student who entered Raffles Junior College with 10A1s and 1A2. Caroline topped her cohort in Raffles Girls’ School (Secondary) in Physics (2002), Chemistry (2003), Mathematics (2003) and Combined Humanities (2003). Excelling in the Maths and Sciences, she has won medals at Olympiads and was selected to be part of the 8-man training team for the 16th International Biology Olympiad. Last year, she also won the Institute of Physics Gold Medal for Excellence in Physics at A Levels. In recognition of her achievements, she was awarded the Defence Science and Technology College Scholarship in 2004.

Since graduating from RJC, she has been relief-teaching in RGS and tutoring. Caroline is able to break down a problem into simple logical steps so that a seemingly intimidating question can become easy. She believes that teaching the correct skills to solve a problem is more important than pure rote learning. As a result of her patient guidance, her students have improved significantly despite having been under her coaching for only half a year.
